In my opinion the book SPEAK by Laurie Halse Anderson, is an excellent book for the average teen. The book explains issues that occur in a teens life, Sexual harrasment, Depression, and Social Lives. This book explains how the main character, Melinda, changes from the bgeinning to the end. I encourage teens of all ages to read this book, as it is dramatic and deals with issues they go through.
